Make sure you go to the Carmike Wynnsong 7 theatre on Tuesday night: $12 for two movie tickets, one large popcorn, and two drinks! Due to the severity of allergies in some of our family members, we are super strict about our NO SMOKING and NO PETS policy. If evidence of cigarettes or pets are found anywhere on the property, we have to keep your deposit, because we have to ionize the house, and shampoo carpets before some of our relatives can return. This is our home, and we appreciate your respect for our family needs. Living Space: The upstairs living area has a soft comfy couch and love seat to provide comfort while you enjoy your favorite shows on a 55” Smart TV. Our home is No Smoking, No Pets. Downstairs Living Space: The downstairs area is one that your kids are sure to love; our game room has a foosball table, and an air hockey table. Rainy day? No problem! Spend the day playing Scrabble, Sorry, Monopoly, or one of many other games provided. And if someone in the group would rather spend the afternoon with a good book, we have dozens of books available for your reading pleasure during your stay. The downstairs living room is my Mom’s favorite room. In addition to being cozy with the gas fireplace, it has a quiet, serene feeling as you sit in the Rocking Chair and gaze at the lake. One of my favorite memories is when my Dad would sleep on the couch while my Mom sat in the rocking chair by the sliding glass door and read. You can pack lighter because we provide the washer & dryer. One week stay preferred for June, July, August, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We will take reservations for less than one week 21 days out. Long term rentals (more than 3 weeks) are limited to 6 people. Our septic system can't handle more than 6 people for long periods of time. We have a security camera facing the driveway, which will be on during your stay. Our neighbors have asked that no more than four cars be present at any time, and no more than 10 guests at any time. We built a tiny house so that people can enjoy our remote location on a small budget. Our tiny house holds all the comforts of your home in a small but convenient package. The tiny house is located on our property, but is tucked away in an enchanted cedar forest. 30 minutes to GSP airport or downtown Spartanburg. 45 minutes to downtown Greenville, SC. 59 minutes to downtown Asheville, NC. Our 8ft x 24ft tiny house has a full kitchen, two sleeping lofts, a lounge with dining, and a full bathroom. The space is compact, but well proportioned. The main sleeping loft has a queen mattress with some storage with access via steps. The second sleeping loft has a twin bed. The bathroom is like any other bathroom. The cedar forest surrounding the tiny house is peaceful and has trails to a small creek and waterfall. It is the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy nature s sounds and sights.

We try to respect our guests privacy but want to be transparent that this is a working farm and the sounds of hoofs and animals may be present during your stay. Our animals are friendly and occasionally wander up to the cabin to greet our guests. Please see attached picture for an aerial view of the areas. Unfortunately we do not offer horseback riding or swimming in the pond, but are happy to provide info on local riding arenas or “swimming holes” **PLEASE NOTE** Hike down to the pond is steep. Close to all antique shops and restaurants. There is a table & chairs and umbrella to enjoy and overlook the pastures as well.Horses may beg for carrots or become restless at night if it has been too rainy for riding, but we are a real little farm here. The mini's are right outside your door all evening and morning munching on hay. Roku, Amazon Prime and good high speed internet and A/C.
